PSF Trainer since March 2018.
Where are you from? I am originally from upstate NY, but moved to just outside of Madison, Wisconsin when I was 13.
Tell us a little about yourself. I am an enthusiastic adventurer that loves running, playing tennis, reading, and watching shitty reality TV when I get the chance. I am always on the move and have a hard time relaxing, but when I do it’s on a boat back home in Wisconsin, or up in the high country in our big backyard of Colorado. I am an identical twin, youngest of 4, and am not on the kid train. I love to travel, eat good food; mostly consisting of a mexican variety, and make others laugh. Preferably not at me, but because of me
How long have you been training for? 10 Years! I have a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise and Fitness and I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Exercise Specialist, and Functional Training certified through The National Academy Of Sports Medicine.
What do you love about fitness training? I love the feeling I know my clients get when they see progress and results. It doesn’t happen overnight, but when it all clicks with consistency and a positive attitude, they transform! it doesn’t have to be a number on the scale to count as a victory. I love it when they see the other victories like getting through a tough workout, or feeling better on the inside. It all transfers to the outside and that’s my favorite thing to see.
What do you love about PSF? I became obsessed with the environment there after my first workout. Having been a Division 1 athlete in college, my expectations for a challenging workout have been set pretty high. PSF has passed the bar in all regards. I love the trainers, the atmosphere, the members, and the push/motivation to be a challenge to MYSELF. I forget where I am when I’m taking a class and that’s the best feeling! Everybody has been super welcoming because as we are reminded in the beginning of each class, we are all there to become stronger, more confident people!
